High energy Garage/psychobilly duo from South Africa, The Dyna Jets, release their second EP entitled "The Calling" on Mandinga Records. The band draws influence from early Rockabilly as well as later revivals like Tav Falco and The Cramps. Link Wray has also been a huge influence on the band. A hint of Alan Vega’s Suicide can be heard in The Calling single too, with wild vocals drowned in reverb and slapback delay giving a similar haunting effect. Mandinga Records have pressed a really limited run here so grab a copy

Duo energético de garage/psychobilly, vindo diretamente da Cidade do Cabo na África do Sul. Os The Dyna Jets estão lançando seu segundo EP, intitulado "The Calling" pela Mandinga Records. O duo tira suas influências dos primórdios do Rockabilly, assim como o seu revival, com grupos como The Cramps e Tav Falco's Panther Burns. O lendário guitarrista Link Wray também é uma referência clara. Este ep também nos remete em alguns momentos a Alan Vega e sua banda Suicide, por conta dos vocais selvagens afogados em reverb e delay, nos passando um efeito assombroso.
